Acceptable Location, Problems with Room Upkeep

Location was alright as bars and food were nearby.
My room had a strange smell upon arrival, really off-putting. The pool seemed never cleaned. It was greener than blue. Cockroaches were everywhere. I had to kill several in my room. Hotel vibes were creepy.

The room size was good. Plenty of furniture met my needs. The cleaning staff was excellent. They cleaned the room daily. New bed sheets were made daily too.
The location meant some noise reached the room sometimes.
